Amber has a telepathic connection with all dragons and can see and speak with them inside her. She also has an ability to calm them down in anxious situations. Just like the Elf, she intends to protect the dragons from all conceivable external threats. She is the one who lures scared dragons to Elmland. The dragon elf is a descendant of the fairies who were appointed guardians of the Dragon Sword and it is therefore her responsibility that the dragon sword does not end up in the wrong hands. When the dragon sword is wielded by some being that possesses great good magical strength such as Elven or Huldran, the dragon sword is the only thing that can defeat a dragon hunter.
